Three FDC Restaurants Honored with AMOT 3-Star Traceability Award

Three restaurants under FDC International Hotels Corporation
have been honored with the prestigious 3-Star Traceable Restaurant award
at the 9th AMOT Star Traceable Restaurant Evaluation.

The Taiwan Agricultural Multisectoral Organization for Transformation (AMOT), supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, aligns with policies promoting net-zero carbon emissions and the traceable production and sales verification system. Besides continuously facilitating the introduction of traceable and organic ingredients into traceable restaurant channels, AMOT also launched in 2023 a service disclosing the carbon emissions from the transportation mileage of traceable ingredients. After 11 years of effort, by the end of last year, over 1,200 traceable restaurants have adopted the traceable production and sales verification system, with a total weight of organic ingredients reaching 44,434,842 kilograms. Additionally, 28 traceable restaurants have disclosed carbon emissions data related to ingredient transportation mileage, showing remarkable results.

FDC International actively promotes a farm-to-table ingredient traceability program. Three restaurants from its portfolio, including Palais de Chine Hotel and Fleur de Chine Hotel, have received the 3-Star Traceable Restaurant recognition. With fully transparent traceable ingredient sourcing, every guest can enjoy authentic flavors along with a safe and安心 dining experience. We will continue to increase the proportion of traceable food ingredients across the group, so that while everyone enjoys delicious cuisine, they can also contribute to the sustainable development of our planet. Locally sourced ingredients are not only fresh and flavorful but also a reliable choice from farm to table!
