Le Palais at Palais de Chine Hotel Collaborates with Seven Matsu Restaurants Reviving Classic and Forgotten Flavors in “A Culinary Journey to Matsu”

The seven-time Michelin three-star Le Palais at Palais de Chine Hotel is partnering with seven renowned local restaurants from the Matsu Islands to present a five-day cross-strait culinary guest event—“A Culinary Journey to Matsu”—from February 26 to March 2, 2025.

This immersive dining experience brings together the signature flavors of Matsu’s representative eateries, reinterpreted through Le Palais’ refined culinary craftsmanship. Guests will savor authentic Matsu-style delicacies in a high-end dining setting for the very first time, showcasing the unique harmony of mountain and sea flavors. The event also shines a spotlight on the distinctive gastronomy of Lienchiang County, introducing it to the international fine dining stage.

Palais de Chine has invited the teams from all seven Matsu restaurants to join the event in person, collaborating with Le Palais’ culinary brigade. Under the creative direction of Executive Chef Ken Chan, each dish will fuse Matsu’s maritime charm with deep-rooted culinary traditions. This celebration of cultural heritage, culinary artistry, and ancestral wisdom aims to share the beauty of Lienchiang with diners in Taiwan and beyond.
