FDC International Announces Three-Day Weekend Policy, Pioneering a New Era for Taiwan’s Service Industry

Starting September 1, 2024, FDC International will become the first company in Taiwan’s tourism industry — and a trailblazer in the service sector — to implement a three-day weekend policy. This groundbreaking initiative will be piloted at The Lalu Sun Moon Lake for six months, after which the results will be evaluated to determine whether it will be adopted permanently.

FDC International believes that the three-day weekend will not only enhance employee job satisfaction but also improve overall efficiency and creativity. This is both a commitment to our employees and to our guests — we will continue to deliver high-quality services while caring for the well-being of our team members.

FDC International has always placed great importance on the physical and mental health, as well as the professional development, of its employees. We recognize that work-life balance is key to boosting both satisfaction and performance. Through this policy, we hope our employees will enjoy more rest and family time while returning to work with higher efficiency, greater creativity, and an even stronger focus on guest service and satisfaction.

In addition, the company is currently renovating its staff cafeteria and break rooms, and has purchased land to build a second staff dormitory — further enhancing the working environment and employee benefits.
