Promoting Taiwan-Italy Cultural Exchange: Palais de Chine Hotel Hosts “Week of Italian Cuisine in the World” Event

In response to the “Week of Italian Cuisine in the World” organized by the Italian Economic, Trade and Cultural Promotion Office, Palais de Chine Hotel will host an exclusive musical and culinary feast, GUSTOSI RICORDI DELLA MAMMA, on the evening of November 20 at the fifth-floor Liang Huai Hall. Renowned Italian female chef Silvia Lazzerini, recommended by the office, will collaborate with Paolo Ghibaudo, chef of the Michelin-listed restaurant Artbrosia, to present a collection of Italian mother’s flavors — a tribute to cherished culinary memories.

The “Week of Italian Cuisine in the World” is a global initiative led by Italy’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ministry of Economic Development, and Ministry of Agriculture. It aims to promote high-quality Italian cuisine and agricultural products worldwide, emphasizing the importance of biodiversity and food diversity.

FDC International and LDC Hotels & Resorts have long been dedicated to fostering Taiwan-Italy cultural exchange and actively expanding their presence in Italy. The group currently owns five hotels and partners with three Michelin Guide restaurants in Italy. Notably, Palazzo Portinari Salviati in Florence and Palazzo Venart in Venice have both earned Michelin-starred hotel status. Additionally, Palais de Chine Hotel’s Italian restaurant Artbrosia, co-founded with renowned Northern Italian Michelin-star chef Massimiliano Musso, has been recognized in the Taiwan Michelin Guide and regularly hosts guest chef events to promote Italian culinary culture.
